It literally fuses the optical technology that displays precise starry sky with the unique technology of ultrahigh-speed digital projection, combining earth scenery, celestial bodies on the starry sky in an unprecedented dimension. A mountain or tree silhouette that stays black in the forest with the starry sky backdrop. A star plate can be said to be the heart of MEGASTAR. Our company has a precise processing technology to produce star plates of outstanding quality.
For many years Takayuki Ohira accumulated know-how of star plate manufacturing.
In collaboration with Sony DADC Japan Inc. we developed GIGAMASK– an ultra-precise technology making single holes in a star plate as small as 200 nanometers. This makes a full 1 Billion stars projection possible.
